Case Management

What is Case Management?

Case Management is defined as:

‘a collaborative process, that assesses, plans, implements, coordinates, monitors, and evaluates the options and services required to meet an individual’s health and wellbeing, education and/or occupational needs, using communication and available resources to promote quality, cost effective and safe outcomes’
BABICM, 2019

A Case Manager should be a qualified health professional with relevant experience in the needs of the individual in which they are case managing. They should have extensive knowledge of the various equipment suppliers, care agencies, therapy providers, and support services in the area.

We provide case management services to children and adults following catastrophic injuries including birth injury, traumatic brain injury, spinal cord injury, complex orthopaedic injury, and amputation. Our team of highly specialised case managers are registered with BABICM (British Association of Brain Injury and Complex Case Management) and ensure the individual receives timely intervention by the right people when required.

We have received praise and recognition for the quality of our case management provision from solicitors and insurance companies throughout the UK and Ireland.
